What is EMS and how does it work?
EMS stands for Electrical Muscle Stimulation. It works by sending electrical impulses to your muscles through electrodes placed on the skin, which mimic the natural signals your brain sends to your muscles, causing them to contract. This enhances muscle activation during exercise, increasing the intensity of your workout.
EMS can help improve muscle strength, tone, and endurance, while also aiding in recovery and injury prevention. It is a time-efficient, low-impact way to intensify workouts, helping people achieve faster results in muscle toning, strength, and fat loss, all while minimising strain on the body.

Is it safe and what does it feel like?
Yes, EMS is safe and the sessions always take place with a knowledgeable and experienced trainer. It feels like a series of gentle pulses or vibrations that cause your muscles to contract. The intensity can be adjusted to your comfort level, and while it may feel unusual at first, it is generally not painful.
How many times a week do I need to train and how quickly will I see results?
For optimal results, training with EMS typically works best 1-3 times a week, allowing your muscles time to recover between sessions and depending on your regular exercise routine. Most people begin to see noticeable results within 4-6 weeks, depending on their fitness goals and consistency.
Can I do EMS as an addition to my normal exercise regime?
Yes, EMS complements activities like yoga, Pilates, and cardio. High-intensity exercises, such as heavy weightlifting, also work well with EMS but should be avoided during the 24 to 48-hour recovery period after a session.
What is the cancellation policy?
To receive a full refund for a training session, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. For example, if your session is on Tuesday at 8:00 am, please cancel by Monday at 7:59 am.
